Meet our staff to rent your watercraft at the Nature Preserve behind Davidson Day School on Jetton Street and have fun on a self-guided paddling adventure. More than 500 members of the Class of 2023 will receive Bachelor of Arts or Science degrees at Davidson’s 186th Commencement.

Note: in the event of inclement weather, the event will be held in Belk Arena and tickets will be required.

Your whole family can enjoy stories, songs, and movement activities that support early literacy skill development and help foster a love of books and reading in your child. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to participate. This program will take place indoors in the Community Meeting Room at Davidson Branch Library. Registration for this program is limited to 25 participants. Please register all people attending storytime.

This program will be held in the children’s area of the Davidson Branch Library. Participants will be required to complete a form with reading interests prior to attending. Boost your reading skills and confidence by reading aloud to a volunteer therapy dog. Paws to Read will be returning to our branch on Tuesday afternoons. Register for a 20 minute reading session with one of our Paws to Read dogs Marshall, Maverick, SabaiDee and Trooper! We hope to read with you soon!​

This program will be provided by Davidson Branch library staff.  Babies experience brain stimulation through language and socialization. Engage your little one with new sights and sounds through books, songs, and rhymes.  This program is for babies ages 0 to 18 months. Listen to stories and extend learning through a variety of hands-on activities relating to our featured book or theme!  This month our theme will be a ON THE FARM! This program focuses on STREAM – Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art and Math.  Registration is required and this program is for preschoolers aged 3 to 5 years.
