Join fellow yarn and textile enthusiasts to share inspiration, ideas, and stories from our experiences as knitters, crocheters, and crafters. This program is not led by an instructor–it’s a social circle for sharing, building understanding and community. Meet up with other knitters or crocheters for self-directed projects in yarn and thread. Bring your own project to work on–no supplies are provided. While you’re here, check out our many crafting books with knitting and crocheting projects to try. Join us on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm.

Davidson Branch Library
Been reading any manga lately? Come share with us what you’re reading, or maybe some of your favorites! We’re not a regular book club. We’re an “UnBook Club!” What’s an Unbook Club, you ask? We don’t all agree to read the same things. (After all, some like shojo more than shonen, or like the mecha genre more than the magical girls type. Some might even like both!) Here we all take turns sharing what we’re currently reading, give and ask for recommendations, and share our love of manga! We play games, make crafts, and hang out. Join us every last Thursday of the month at 4:30 p.m. in the community room. Looking for some manga to read? Check out our catalog and place a hold, or come explore our graphic novel section in the branch. Find a link to our catalog by clicking here.
