The ODD Sock Summer of Thanks and Projects
We are so excited The ODD Sock partnered with Davidson K8 (DK8) National Junior Honor Society for the first time for our Spring Out of Socks month. DK8 collected hundreds of socks, hosted a sock sort, and learned more about the ODD Sock mission and the dire need for socks in the homeless community. We truly appreciate Davidson K8. A special thank-you goes to Libby Rhea, DK8 student and NJHS member, for coordinating this event. Libby is working to make this an ongoing event.

June is a very busy month for us at The ODD Sock! We will be making sock deliveries to Tennessee, Kentucky, South Carolina, and, of course, North Carolina.
The ODD Sock is looking for volunteers in June, July, and August to do special summer projects. For more information, text 704-625-6194. We are also looking for community groups to sort socks for us.
Community service hours are available Wednesdays June 14, 21, and 28 from 3:30-5:00 p.m. Packing and sorting socks for delivery is what the volunteers will be doing.
