Whole Pet Veterinary Hospitals Celebrates Tenth Anniversary
Dr. Nicole Sheehan founded Whole Pet Veterinary Hospitals in 2013, after she had been in the veterinary field for almost a decade. It was her personal mission to upgrade the way medicine was practiced to help as many pets and pet parents as possible. In doing so, she also created a climate for better work/life balance for the veterinary staff.
It was just one year later that her partner, Dr. Carrie Uehlein joined the staff. They are now preparing to celebrate their ten-year anniversary, and we can see the positive impact that they have made on the Davidson community and beyond.
In 2020, they opened a second location in Wilmington, North Carolina. It was quickly followed by the third location in Mountain Island in 2021, and then the newest (and fourth) location in South Charlotte in May 2023.
Even though they are expanding to help the surrounding communities, they have a deep connection to their home community of Davidson. The new space upstairs from the main office on South Main just had its grand opening. This space is dedicated to the community of Davidson, with a spacious reception area, offering refreshments to any passersby.
Even though it has only been open for one month, it has already hosted a myriad of events for the local community, including an art crawl and a dance for the Community School of Davidson. Not only is this space used for the Davidson area, but it will also be home to their Charities, Whole Pet Go, which helps communities around the world, and the HOPE Fund, which helps families in need locally.
With their friendly demeanor and willingness to help, Whole Pet Veterinary hospitals continue to thrive.
