Paced by top overall finisher Alex Heffner, Davidson clinched the program’s third consecutive Atlantic 10 Men’s Golf title, closing out the three-day touranment on Sunday April 30 with a one-over 865 at Reunion Resort’s Nicklaus Course in Kissimmee, Fla. Heffner set the tone for a strong Wildcats crew, carding a 10-under par for the competition – a notable four strokes below the second-ranked individual – as Davidson staved off Loyola Chicago (873), VCU (881) and George Washington (887) en route to the victory.
The ‘Cats advanced to the 2023 NCAA Las Vegas Regional, concluding the season with a 12th-place finish as a team as a well as Joshua Stewart’s 25th place individually.
