Felt Swims to Olympic Trial Cuts

OCALA, Fla. — Davidson swimmer and reigning Atlantic 10 Conference Most Outstanding Performer Dylan Felt has earned U.S. Olympic Trial cuts in multiple events this week at the 2023 FUTURES Championships.
On Wednesday, Felt qualified for the 2024 Olympic Trials in Indianapolis in the 200-meter freestyle and the 1,500M free. His 200 time of 1:49.10 eclipsed the cut by 0.89, while his 1,500 time of 15:38.35 was more than a second faster than the standard (15:39.89).
Felt is also competing in the 100M free Thursday, the 400M free Friday and the 800M free Saturday.
A rising sophomore, Felt had a breakthrough debut college season. He won two A-10 freestyle championships, secured four medals and was named Most Outstanding Rookie, along with the aforementioned top league honor.
