Davidson Fire Department Invites Community to “Stuff the Truck”
Help the Davidson Fire Department help others.
The Davidson Fire Department is hosting a Back to School ‘Stuff the Truck’ event on Saturday, August 5 at Davidson United Methodist Church located at 233 S. Main Street. Donations can be made from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. noon. This event is thanks to the collaborative efforts of FeedNC, the Town of Davidson, and Mecklenburg County Professional Firefighters Association (Local 5326).
This family friendly event collects much-needed back-to-school supplies to ease the burden on children and their families. Suggested donations include lunch boxes, hygiene items, granola bars, Goldfish, fruit snacks, applesauce pouches, breakfast bars, chewy bars, gluten-free snacks, Cheez-its animal crackers, pretzels, popcorn, individual peanut butter packets, cookies, graham crackers, and other individually wrapped crackers. First Responders will be on site with Fire Engine 3 to assist with drop-offs throughout the event.
