In Memoriam: Alan Nordfors England
Alan Nordfors England, 86, of Davidson, NC, passed away on August 7, 2023.Alan was born in Plainfield, NJ, on November 27, 1936, to the late George and Alice England.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn England; brother, George England; daughter, Kimberly Belford, son, Mark England; daughter–in–law, Ingrid England; and grandchildren, Joseph Belford III, Brian Belford, Michael Belford, Lauren England, and Jessica England.
Alan was a devoted member of Davidson College Presbyterian Church, participating in Brindisi Bible Study and Stephen Ministry. He was also a long-time volunteer at Novant Hospital. His favorite pastime was acting in community theater productions throughout his adult life. Spending time with his friends and family brought him great joy, as well as annual fishing trips with his son and grandsons.
In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 26th at Davidson College Presbyterian Church in Davidson, NC.
