A DavidsonLearns Spotlight Event:
Romeo and Juliet:  A Story for a Lifetime…

Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet is a well-known classic, a high school staple. Are its themes and messages the same after years of re-reading and teaching? Dr. Cynthia Lewis is a Shakespeare scholar who has the experience of teaching this play regularly for several decades throughout her career. Dr. Lewis discusses how rigorous, repetitive study of the play deepens understanding and gives this classic more meaning than the high school encounter. Join us for some well-loved Shakespeare!
