Run For Green – This Saturday

Join us for the 18th annual Run For Green held in Davidson! This popular race includes a 5K, 10k, and half-marathon and boasts a certified course that takes runners through the Town of Davidson and along miles of scenic greenways. Run For Green is DLC’s only annual fundraising event.
 
Parking for this year’s Race is available at Davidson Methodist Church & Chapel (233 or 304 South Main Street) and the Brickhouse (209 Delburg Street).  Parking is not available at the Davidson College Baker parking lot or in the CVS parking lot.
 
Lorimer Road will be blocked at 6:00 p.m., Friday September 29 until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 30. Please do not park on South Street Between Main Street and Spring Street as of 6 p.m. on Friday evening, September 29.
 
Participants will line up at the Town Green with all races starting on South Street and all event runners should have completed the courses no later than noon. The Antiquity bridge at the end of South Street will be closed briefly in the morning for the start of the races at 7:00 a.m.

Can’t make it to Davidson on September 30, you can also “run anywhere you want” and still support the Davidson Lands Conservancy in their efforts to protect, explore, and support natural environments as a virtual runner. And, as always, we love your photos of yourself and where you run!
 
After you finish your run, you will easily be able to upload your results through RunSignUp or you can still do it the old fashioned way and send them to [email protected]
