Volleyball Closes Six-Game Homestand with Loyola Chicago
DAVIDSON, N.C. – For the first time in program history, the Davidson Wildcats will play host to Loyola Chicago in a weekend series beginning on Friday at 7 p.m. and concluding on Saturday at 6 p.m.
The Ramblers, who are in their second year in the Atlantic 10, captured the 2022 conference championship during their debut season.

PROTECT IT… The Wildcats are 10-2 overall, 2-0 in league play and 6-1 on McKillop Court this season, having only lost at home to Wake Forest during a narrow five-set match. While Davidson averages 14.36 kills per set, good for fourth in all of NCAA Division I volleyball, the ‘Cats average an even better 15.04 kills per set from inside Belk Arena. Additionally, Davidson has held its opponents to a .162 attacking percentage at home, while swinging .241 on McKillop Court.ABOUT THE ‘BLERS… With a 2-11 overall record, Loyola Chicago started off league play 0-2 after dropping a pair of matches to #23 Dayton in Chicago. The Ramblers are looking for their first win since August 27, after upsetting #16 Purdue, 3-2. Reigning Atlantic 10 Player of the Year Karlie McNabb leads Loyola, averaging 3.02 kills per set and totaling a team-best 139 kills to date.
UNSUNG HEROES… Davidson’s setters combine for 13.09 assists per set to keep the Wildcats in motion, ranking top in the Atlantic 10 and ninth nationally. Xuan Nguyen has dished 264 assists (6.29/set) this season, while recording four double-doubles, and Jessie Doyal adds another 4.93 assists per set. Libero Bella Brady has also contributed 63 assists, in addition to her 4.93 digs per set, the 25th best ratio in the nation.
