Hey Dog Owners, ‘Cats for a Cause Needs Your Help
The nonprofit Continuing the Mission will have some of their pups on hand for this event as well.
‘Cats for a Cause at Davidson College is an organization that helps to raise money and awareness for children who are hospitalized at the Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte. The hospital is part of a larger network called the Children’s Miracle Network. The money we raise goes towards helping families pay for treatments, NICU diapers, art supplies for the kids, and many other items that will improve children’s stays at the hospital and boost their morale!
Local dog owners can help by bringing your dogs to campus for Puppy Day. This year Puppy Day will be held October 31 from 11:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Wall (Academic Center) North Lawn. Since it is Halloween, feel free to dress your dogs in costumes if you would like. We would love to invite you to participate in our event this year! While the event lasts from 11:00 – 1, you do not have to stay for the whole time.
