Music at St. Albans Presents Renowned Pianist Lovell Bradford and his Jazz Ensemble
On Sunday, October 22 at 3:00 p.m., Music at St. Alban’s (M@SA) will present renowned pianist Lovell Bradford and his Jazz Ensemble. He will perform jazz hits with some of his favorite colleagues in the jazz world.
Pianist Lovell Bradford
Adjunct professor of piano at Davidson College, Bradford has played on top recordings in both the Gospel and Jazz traditions. Lovell has performed with artists such as Pharez Whitted, Slide Hampton, Wynton Marsalis, Branford Marsalis, Wes “Warmdaddy” Anderson, Ronnie Burrage, and many others.
The concert will be preceded by a young artists’ performance at 2:20 p.m., featuring the strings students of Matthews-based violinist Janelle Davis.
