Tuesday, November 28, 2023 is Giving Tuesday.

First established in 2012, Giving Tuesday offers an annual reminder of the importance of philanthropy, particularly as we move fully into a season of giving to family and friends, and to those we have never met and likely never will.

News of Davidson continues to focus our efforts on amplifying the needs and the news of nonprofits in our community. Most of these small organizations cannot afford a public relations staff, but have important messages to share with our community. We love to tell their stories, announce their events, and celebrate their successes—so many thanks to the supportive community we share.

Today, acknowledging the needs of many, News of Davidson asks that you will also support our central role as the free, open, all-volunteer voice for those who seek such basics as shelter, nourishment, education, and healthcare, as well as those who enrich our culture with the arts.
