Davidson’s Parasol Lady
Cheryl Corcione is Davidson’s “Parasol Lady.”
Have you seen this woman in downtown Davidson wearing a vintage dress and carrying a parasol? If so, you may have wondered who she is and what she’s doing. Her name is Cheryl Corcione, and she moved to Davidson from New York. She chose Davidson because of its quality of life and family atmosphere.
Cheryl describes herself as a Transformational Health Coach who has overcome anxiety and PTSD. Her outfits – more than she can count – are complete with gloves and a hat. She enjoys being downtown and has met many interesting people. Dressing in her vintage clothing brings her joy, and she believes that she adds to the “vibe” of the town. She thoroughly enjoys conversations with people she meets who may be curious about what she’s doing.
The next time you see Cheryl you may want to start a conversation remembering that her motto is “Leave Magic and Sparkles wherever you go.”
