Happy Holidays,

This time of year can feel busy, stressful and even overwhelming — especially for families struggling to make ends meet: they have no extra money to buy presents; they have no stuffing or pie to eat; and they are working overtime instead of attending parties.

This holiday season, the Ada Jenkins Center will continue to serve our struggling neighbors with the sense of joy and hope that we all love to feel this time of year. Here are a few ways you can help:

• Sign-up/participate in the Davidson Turkey Trot
• Make an end-of-year gift (whether a one-time or monthly donation)
• Shop Kendra Scott on-line or in store during their Giving Tuesday promotion: purchase a sparkly, stunning gift for a loved one on 11/28-11/29 using code GIVEBACK-FLTIS
• Shop at the Kendra Scott store at Birkdale Village on Friday, December 8 (4:00-6:00pm). We’ll have champagne and sweet treats, and a portion of your purchase will be donated back to the Ada Jenkins Center.
