Town of Davidson invites residents and community members to the annual Arbor Day Celebration on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at the Davidson Pump House and South Prong Rocky River Greenway located at 865 South Street. The Town’s Arbor Day celebration encourages individuals and groups to plant and care for trees.

The Town of Davidson was awarded the designation of 2024 Tree City USA by the Arbor Day Foundation for the fourteenth consecutive year. The Town expresses gratitude to community volunteers, members of the Town’s Livability Advisory Board, the Davidson Lands Conservancy program; Trees Davidson, and Town staff for their collective efforts that led to this accomplishment.

We are excited to announce the addition of a community tree planting and tree sapling give-a-way from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. as part of the Town’s Arbor Day Celebration this year. TreesDavidson will host the tree planting of 40-50 trees, free tree saplings will be distributed on a first-come first-served basis while supplies last.
