WASHINGTON, D.C. – Davidson lacrosse freshman, Jenna Skibbe earns a hat trick of Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week awards after earning her third, the league office announced Monday. 

Continuing a dominant debut season, Skibbe helped lead the Wildcats to a 1-1 week highlighted by a 16-7 win over A-10 opponent La Salle Saturday at Richardson Stadium. 

The freshman midfielder from Lake Mary, Fla. scored a game-high and career-best six goals against the Explorers after landing nine of her 10 shot attempts on target. Saturday’s performance for Skibbe tallied her fifth hat trick of the season. 

Davidson continues Atlantic 10 action when it travels to Virginia to face Richmond at 4:30 p.m. March 16.
