Calling All Cat Lovers

by | Mar 14, 2024

Do you have a knack for outsmarting feline instincts? Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of community cats? Cats of Davidson needs your help!

We’re recruiting dedicated individuals to join our Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program. As a cat trapper, you’ll play a crucial role in preventing thousands of unwanted kittens by trapping and spaying/neutering community cats.

Trapping can be challenging, but with your skills and dedication, we can make a huge impact together. We’re looking for volunteers who can commit to just two or three days a month to assist with trapping efforts.

If you’re able to provide temporary housing for recovering cats, that’s fantastic, but it’s not required to make a difference.

Join us in making our community a better place for cats and humans alike. Together, we can make a “pawsitive” difference! Email [email protected] for more details.

Other Ways to Help Cats of Davidson

Tisha needs help with some much-needed medical expenses.

Tisha needs our help. This sweet boy belongs to a local Ukrainian refugee who nearly had to move heaven and earth to bring her fur baby with her to the United States. He’s 7 years old and in need of veterinary care after leaving his war-torn homeland. His owner discovered he wasn’t eating and reached out to us. Our vet determined he needed dental work and three extractions of rotting teeth. He will also be neutered.

Cats of Davidson is committed to helping Tisha. If you can contribute to his veterinary bills, please PayPal @CatsofDavidson or donate below. Donations can also be made to Main Street Veterinary Hospital under the Cats of Davidson account. We appreciate the help!

Max Still Needs a “Furever” Home

Max still needs a home.

Marvelous, majestic Max! Or Maximus Cattius when he’s looking especially regal. Max longs for his own people and warm laps he can commandeer. When he is deliriously happy and purring, he drools from sheer delight. He’s very docile and enjoys playing with other cats, but he tends to prefer the attention of humans and quiet to watch birds outside. Despite being found wandering, he makes a perfect house cat! Great manners, likes to be held, follows his new best friend. Come meet Max!
