New Roles for Members of the Hurt Hub Team

by | Mar 28, 2024

Join us in congratulating Kelly Weaver and Keith Varriale on their recent promotions into new roles!

Kelly Weaver has been a part of the Hurt Hub team for over four years leading the Gig-Hub and NEXT Level programs. In her new role as the Community Experience Manager, Kelly will be the cultivator of our community culture across all those we serve – Davidson College students, faculty, staff, alumni, Hurt Hub coworkers, and those in our entrepreneurial ecosystem. Kelly also brings her recent certification as a CliftonStrengths Coach to the role providing our community with a new way to assess and learn more about themselves and their workstyles. Kelly will continue to oversee the NEXT Level program in coordination with Ashley Bodie in the Matthews Center for Career Development.

Each month, Kelly will be hosting new member onboarding sessions as well as fun and creative experiences to deepen the connections across our community – like the recent March Madness competition! She welcomes the opportunity to discuss new partnerships and your feedback on your experience at the Hurt Hub.

Keith Varriale joined our team a little over a year ago as the Gig-Hub Program Coordinator and is now transitioning into a new position as the Sales and Sponsorships Manager at the Hurt Hub. Prior to joining the Hurt Hub, Keith spent 20 years in sales and recruiting roles, primarily in the insurance and financial services industries. He relocated to Davidson from Connecticut in 2021 with his wife and two sons.

If you’ve hired a Gig-Hub student in the last year, I’m sure you’ve had many conversations with Keith to keep everything on track! Over the next few months, Keith will be transitioning into his new role where he will be overseeing all coworking membership and events sales and seeking out new corporate sponsors to support our non-profit work. If you are interested in checking out our newest space, The Hive, Keith can hook you up! If you have a friend who would like to join our coworking community, please get in touch with Keith.

We will be opening up a new position shortly to ensure that we continue Kelly and Keith’s great work with the Gig-Hub program and Tech Impact Fund.

Thank you to everyone in our community for continuing to support the Hurt Hub through your membership. As a non-profit, we could not provide the programming, services, and inspirational space to strengthen our entrepreneurial and innovative community without your membership and support.
