Over the course of Spring Semester, our dancers and choreographers have been working hard to put together dance pieces for everyone to enjoy. The DE Spring 2024 Showcase will present the culmination of everyone’s hard work and provide a larger audience with some fun evening entertainment. We will showcase a wide range of dances from jazz to KPOP to hip hop and much more. We welcome any and everyone! Come to laugh, cheer, cry, and maybe even dance a little in your seats. We hope you enjoy!

Rage! Sex! Betrayal! Bloody murder! In the heat of late summer 1892, Andrew Borden and his wife are found murdered in their house. The main suspect in the murders is Andrew’s youngest daughter from a previous marriage, Lizzie Borden. Using a searing rock score, and based on the historical record, LIZZIE explores the heady and heated days leading up to the murder and Lizzie’s controversial acquittal of all charges and the creation of a new American myth. Dionysia Theater Group is grateful for sponsorship for LIZZIE from Q&A, DACE, and the Charles N Williamson Fund. LIZZIE mentions of death, sexual assault, abuse, and strong language.

Please check in with library staff beginning at 9:00 am on the day of the Storytime – the first 12 babies and their caregivers are able to attend.
