Tim O’Brien with Jan Fabricious in Concert
DavidsonLearns is pleased to announce a concert in Davidson College’s Traditional Music Series. Tim O’Brien will be performing with Jan Fabricius. In 2024 Tim is celebrating 50 years as a performing musician. A multi-instrumentalist (guitar, fiddle, mandolin, and banjo) he has performed with a long list of traditional musicians, especially in Nashville, where he has lived since 1996.
The International Bluegrass Music Association recognized him as best male vocalist in 1993 and 2006 and awarded him song of the year in 2006. He will be performing with his wife, Jan Fabricius, with whom he has been performing for nearly a decade. He is a Traditional Music treasure, one of the most deeply loved and respected traditional musicians of our time.
