Hundreds Attend Red Line Public Meeting in Davidson
The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) Public Meeting on the Red Line Commuter Rail was so well attended that it spilled out of the Davidson Library onto the “front porch” on Main Street.
People of all ages took time to walk around to see the displays, look at the maps, and participate in identifying top priorities as the effort moves forward.
The event was a gathering of community, with a lot of conversation that seems to have been “on the drawing board” for decades.
CATS representatives were on hand to answer questions on myriad topics. Town elected officials were there, as were members of Town Staff.
The meeting also provided an opportunity for people to give their opinions on two specific topics. Note: our numbers of votes in the lists below come from photos taken roughly 30 minutes into the 2-hour session.
