Ways to Support the Ada Jenkins Center this Spring

by | Apr 24, 2024

Spring is in full bloom, and just like the numerous beautiful flowers around town, many opportunities to support Ada Jenkins have recently popped up!

The best part… They are all Win-Win opportunities! Whether you love to shop, like to win awesome prizes from your couch, enjoy golf or art, or just love your mom, we have an opportunity for you!

Check out the following ways you can show your support of AJC and your community:

  • Win a NASCAR Experience, Charlotte FC Club Tickets, Autographed Memorabilia, $100 Gift Card and more by purchasing raffle tickets online here. Winners will be drawn at our Golf Outing on April 29th. You DO NOT have to participate or be present to win! Pre-sale deadline is Friday, April 26th.
  • DEADLINE Thursday: We have a few individual and team spots still available for Golfing for Good on Monday, April 29th at Mooresville Golf Club. Sign up here and enjoy breakfast, lunch and a great day on the course! Registration begins at 7:45am, play begins at 9am.
  • Buy some jewelry for the special mom in your life at Kendra Scott in Birkdale Village on Saturday May 4th between 1pm and 3pm. AJC will receive 20% of the proceeds from all sales during that time!
  • On Saturday, April 27th from 1-4pm, the AJC is holding a FREE book fair for youth (ages 3-17) in the gymnasium, where youth may select up to two books and two bookmarks for free! All books feature Black characters and cultures and are created by Black authors and illustrators.

*And before or after joining the Book Fair, why not stop by the free Community Chalk-Art Festival at Davidson College, in the Baker Parking Lot.  Enjoy the artwork and cast your vote! Voting proceeds benefit Ada Jenkins Center’s LEARN Works program.

We hope you would consider one or more of these excited ways to support the Ada Jenkins Center. Whether buying a gift, golfing with friends or even winning a prize, your actions can help our neighbors in need… so everyone wins!

Please direct any questions regarding these opportunities to our Development Director, Josh Kiser by clicking here. As always, thank you for your continued community support!

Enjoy the Carolina Springtime!
