La Escuelita Honors Its Graduates Moving Up to Kindergarten
On the morning of May 23, fourteen three-year-olds sang “Una Casita” and “Baby Bumblebee” to proud parents. Everyone had popsicles on the patio and bid a tearful good-bye until September.
On May 24, “Pomp and Circumstance” sounded on speakers and sixteen four-year-olds began a procession wearing royal blue gowns and caps with yellow tassels. The graduates sang “It’s Time for Me to Go” and blew kisses to the emotional crowd of 90 or so family members and friends.
The children received their diplomas and wriggled in anticipation over the cap toss! Teachers were honored with flowers, and then it was fiesta time with those graduation cupcakes. These children are soaring into kindergarten.
What a joyful and gratifying year for La Escuelita Bilingual Preschool!
