Community Awareness: Road Closure on Concord Road & Crescent: Please Exercise Caution
On Sunday, July 7, 2024, overnight, a tree fell and remains down blocking traffic on Concord Road near Crescent Drive. Please exercise caution and avoid the area if possible. Davidson Police Department have blocked off the area and created the following detour:
EAST BOUND: Pine Road, Patrick Johnston Lane, Hudson Place, North Kimberly Road
WEST BOUND: North Kimberly Road, Hudson Place, Patrick Johnston Lane, Pine Road
Duke Energy has been notified as the power lines were affected.
The contractor and tree crew arrived in the early hours this morning and expect the repair work to continue through 12:00 p.m. noon today (Monday, July 8).
