by | Jul 24, 2024

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Quinn Suber has joined the Davidson College football staff as a defensive assistant, head coach Scott Abell announced Tuesday.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to join Coach Abell and his staff,” Suber commented. “Being able to further pursue my passion for coaching college football at an institution like Davidson College is a tremendous opportunity.”

In 2023, Suber was a quality control coach at Furman University where he assisted the secondary and special teams units with weekly scouting reports and practice breakdowns.

Prior to his stint with the nationally-ranked Paladins, Suber served as a graduate assistant working with linebackers and special teams on DeWayne Alexander’s staff at Tennessee Tech.

In addition, he started his coaching career working with the safeties and assisting with special teams at Mississippi College for the 2021 campaign.

Suber earned his undergraduate degree in media communications from East Tennessee State in 2021 before moving on to Mississippi College. He added a master’s degree in athletic administration from Tennessee Tech in 2022.
