Annual Lake Norman Fondo – Road Closure Reminder

The Annual Lake Norman Fondo Cycling Event for LKN Area Charities will take place on Sunday, August 18, 2024. Each of the three bicycle rides offered will originate on Lorimer Road near the Town Green (119 S. Main Street) and head east out of town on Concord Road. Please exercise caution when traveling around Town as approximately 500 participants are anticipated to attend this year’s event.
Street Closures: Lorimer Road will be closed from the CVS parking lot (127 S. Main Street) to Concord Road beginning Saturday, August 17 at 6:00 p.m. through Sunday, August 18 at 4:00 p.m.
Parking: Participating cyclists are asked to park in the public lots along Jackson Street. Please note due to Sunday’s church services, available parking Downtown may be limited.
