Draft Legislation to Authorize a Countywide Referendum
Information about the proposal will be provided at upcoming Town Board meetings.
On August 9, 2024, Mecklenburg County government, the City of Charlotte government, and a majority of the six towns within Mecklenburg County including the Town of Davidson released a Joint Managers Statement providing information about Legislation to Authorize a Countywide Referendum Regarding Supplemental Sources of Revenue for Local Government Transportation System Financing.
More information on this proposal will be discussed at the upcoming August 27 and September 10 Town Board Meetings and will include opportunities for the public to comment.
