The Monica Chibuogu Nneji Foundation Awards Three 2024 College Scholars

The Monica Chibuogu Nneji Foundation (MCNF) has awarded three college scholarships through its College Scholarship program, which identifies and invests in future health care professionals who are innovative, inclusive, resilient, and driven to improve health equity in their communities.

The MCNF College Scholarship program is designed to support students pursuing higher education in health care fields such as nursing, medicine, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, public health, and biomedical engineering.

The Foundation awards each scholar with a scholarship of $500.00 based on unmet financial need as well as professional mentorship throughout their academic journey. The 2024 MCNF College Scholars are presented below:

  • Sally Zhao. From San Francisco, California to study Nutritional Science at University of California, Berkeley.
  • Dmytro “Dima” Davydenko. From Velyka Novosilka, Ukraine to study Chemistry at Davidson College, North Carolina.
  • America Lopez-Montoya. From Durham, North Carolina to study Kinesiology at University of North Carolina, Greensboro.
