Naaktgeboren Named to A-10 Field Hockey Preseason Team

WASHINGTON — Davidson field hockey player Sib Naaktgeboren has been named to the Atlantic 10 Preseason All-Conference Team, the league announced Tuesday morning.
She is one of 11 players recognized in the eight-team league.
A junior midfielder from Zwijndrecht, Netherlands, Naaktgeboren was an A-10 Second Team pick last November after leading the Wildcats with 19 points, including seven goals and five assists. Naaktgeboren ranked second in the A-10 with 50 shots, 35 shots-on-goal and 3.29 shots per game. She scored two goals and assisted on another against La Salle and contributed nine points in the last six games.
Naaktgeboren and the Wildcats open the season Friday afternoon at home against Georgetown.
