Friend of Ada fundraising event in partnership with Thrive Detailing
Smiling faces are needed to join our Welcome Team! September through May, our front door gets very busy. We have a new volunteer opportunity available daily, Monday through Friday, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. to assist with greeting/answering our door- primarily assisting LEARN Works volunteers with signing in. Our LEARN Works Afterschool program begins Sept. 9, and there are still a few volunteer openings for the following opportunities (ages 16+, please). The deadline is September 6.
- Opportunity #1: Temporary LW Volunteer – Get a taste of tutoring and mentoring with the LEARN Works Afterschool Programs! Drop In and Volunteer any weekday September 9 through September 24. Please sign up here!
- Opportunity #2: Apply to be a regular weekly volunteer with our LEARN Works Afterschool Programs! If you can commit to weekly service, view our Education Volunteer Opportunities Directory and complete our Education Volunteer Application.
We have a need for some kitchen, event, and school supplies! Please check the following lists if you’d like to hold a drive or simply purchase any of these much-needed items!
