Atlantic 10 Announces Men’s Basketball Conference Schedule
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Atlantic 10 Conference announced the league slate for the 2024-25 season Tuesday afternoon, completing the Davidson men’s basketball regular season schedule.
The Wildcats, who unveiled their non-conference schedule a week ago, will tip off their 18-game conference ledger on the road at George Mason on New Year’s Eve.
To begin the month of January, the ‘Cats will welcome reigning A-10 Tournament Champions Duquesne (Jan. 4) and Fordham (Jan. 11), for back-to-back games inside Belk Arena, before hitting the road for two straight at La Salle (Jan. 15) and Rhode Island (Jan. 18).
Davidson will then play host to Saint Joseph’s on Tuesday, Jan. 21 and travel to Richmond on Saturday, Jan. 25 to close out the month.
In February, the Wildcats will exchange home games and road trips between George Mason (Feb. 1), Dayton (Feb. 4), Richmond (Feb. 8) and Massachusetts (Feb. 12). Davidson’s second contest of the season with the Spiders, on Saturday, Feb. 8, will be the Wildcats’ first nationally televised A-10 game of the year, with a 12 p.m. tipoff from McKillop Court to air on USA Network.
On Saturday, Feb. 15, the ‘Cats host George Washington, followed by a Tuesday night tipoff against Loyola Chicago (Feb. 18) at home, which will air on CBS Sports Network.
After hitting the road to Fordham (Feb. 22) and hosting Saint Louis (Feb. 25), Davidson will then travel to VCU for a Friday, Feb. 28 matchup in the Seigel Center on ESPN.
To close out the regular season, the ‘Cats will visit Loyola Chicago (March 5) for their second CBS Sports Network game of the year, before finishing out the campaign with a March 8 tipoff against St. Bonaventure at home.
Entering its 11th season in the Atlantic 10, Davidson has won two regular season titles (2015, 2022), a tournament title (2018), made three NCAA Tournaments (2015, 2018, 2022) and totaled 112 league wins. The Wildcats have also reached the tournament semifinals nine times.
