Join us at an event featuring Davidson’s new Sustainability Director, Kayla Kovach, and the new Climate Action Plan that the town has recently adopted.

Kayla Kovach has been the Sustainability Manager with the Town of Davidson since November 2023. She has a Master’s in Science degree in Environmental Engineering from Clemson University, with a focus on Sustainable Systems and a Bachelor’s in Science degree in Civil Engineering from University of Cincinnati. As a licensed professional engineer in the state of North Carolina and a member of the Carolinas Air Pollution Control Association, Kayla has experience with sustainable manufacturing, environmental engineering consulting for a variety of industries, and management of federal contracts for remedial investigations of varying scope and size. In her role as Sustainability Manager, Kayla is focusing on enhancing the Town’s sustainability efforts and implementing the Town’s Climate Action Plan.
