Volunteers Needed to Help Place Flags on the Graves of Local Veterans
It is a Davidson tradition to honor Veterans who are interred in Davidson cemeteries by placing flags on their graves.
We do this in preparation for Veterans Day and to accord them the respect they earned with their military service.
WHEN: 1:30 p.m., Sunday, November 3
WHERE: meet at Mimosa Cemetery, at South Walnut Streets. We will then proceed to other sites.
We encourage JROTC and all Scouts to join and lead this effort! Thanks for joining in this annual celebration in advance of Veterans Day.
For more information, contact John Woods, a Davidson citizen and veteran, at his email or by phone.
