WASHINGTON — Davidson volleyball player Emma Slusser has been named Atlantic 10 Co-Player of the Week, the league announced Monday afternoon.

An opposite hitter from Cottage Grove, Minn., Slusser averaged 3.63 kills per set (29 total) and hit .565 as the Wildcats earned two 3-1 league wins over Rhode Island. She also added .75 digs, .25 blocks and 3.81 points per set.

This season, Slusser ranks second on the Wildcats with 300 kills and 2.70 kills per set, both of which rank in the top 10 in the league.

Slusser is the fourth Wildcat to earn an A-10 weekly honor this season, joining Kinsey Smith (Rookie, Oct. 21), Melanie Tilles (Defensive, Oct. 21) and Jordan Hummel (Defensive, Nov. 4).

Slusser and the fourth-seeded Wildcats enter the six-team A-10 Tournament Friday when they face No. 5 George Washington.
