Men’s Golf Signs Paschall and Jessop for 2025-26 Campaign
DAVIDSON, N.C. – Davidson head men’s golf coach Tim Straub recently announced the signings of Alexander Paschall (Charlotte, N.C.) and Owen Jessop (Westhampton Beach, N.Y.) for the 2025-26 campaign.
“We are very excited to have Alexander and Owen join our team next fall,” said Straub, who has guided the Wildcats to four Atlantic 10 titles over the last six years. “They are tremendous scholar athletes who have been very successful on the national junior level. I look forward to seeing their impact on our team.”
A product of Charlotte Christian, Paschall climbed to a high as No. 10 in the NCISAA rankings, while earning all-conference honors in 2024. In addition to finishing runner-up in the 2023 Charlotte-Metro Junior Championships, Paschall finished third in the 2024 NC Junior Championship and fifth in the NC Match Play Championship.
Jessop, who attends Westhampton High, recently competed in the 2024 United States Junior Amateur at Oakland Hills. Ranked 226th in the 2025 class, he captured the MGA Carter Cup and is a two-time Met PGA Tournament winner.
