DAVIDSON, NC – It’s official—Santa Claus is coming back to the Town of Davidson! The Davidson Fire Department confirmed that Santa has scheduled a special pre-Christmas Eve visit to the Town of Davidson to review his holiday route. Trading his sleigh for a fire engine, Santa will ride through town on Thursday, December 12, and Friday, December 13, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. each night.

  • Thursday, December 12, 6:30–8:30 p.m. to locations WEST of the East Rocky River roundabout
  • Friday, December 13, 6:30–8:30 p.m. to locations EAST of the East Rocky River roundabout

To ensure that as many residents as possible have a chance to see Santa, residents on cul-de-sacs or dead-end streets are encouraged to wave from the entrance of their neighborhood, as turning the fire engine around in these areas can be tricky.

Santa and the Davidson Fire Department encourage residents to pay close attention to the maps and listen for the fire truck’s sirens signaling Santa’s arrival into a neighborhood.

“Driving Santa around Davidson to scope out his Christmas Eve route is something we look forward to each year,” said Davidson Fire Chief Ryan Monteith. “It’s fantastic to see the excitement he brings to the community. We hope residents will bundle up and come outside to wave as he makes his way through the Town.”
