CATS Micro Transit Launching in North Mecklenburg
Micro connect the CATS system for you – launching on February 24, 2025
CATS Micro is a microtransit service: an on-demand, shared-ride transit option that gets you where you need to go, for the same low cost as a bus or light rail trip. CATS Micro is a convenient, easy-to-use option to get to places where other methods of CATS transport may not run directly. CATS Micro runs point-to-point within a designated zone and currently serves the Northern Mecklenburg County area, primarily in the towns of Huntersville, Cornelius, and Davidson.
Current Service Area
The CATS Micro zone serves areas north of I-485, including the towns of Huntersville, Davidson, and Cornelius. The CATS-Pass app can be download at the Apple store or the Google Play store. Use our Trip Planner to find out if your trip is within the CATS Micro service area.
How to Book a Ride
Using CATS Micro is simple. You can easily plan and book your trip through the CATS-Pass app. If needed, you can also book by calling 704.336.7433.
