Davidson Lifeline has Merged with the National Alliance on Mental Illness
Davidson Lifeline has merged with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Charlotte, and we are excited about extending NAMI support groups, classes, and other signature programs to Northern Mecklenburg County. To do that, NAMI Charlotte needs more volunteers passionate about mental health who live in the area. In that effort, we wanted to share details about the upcoming NAMI Charlotte informational session at the Davidson Library. This is a great opportunity to:
- Learn About Our Organization: Discover who we are, what we do, and our commitment to mental health advocacy and support in Charlotte.
- Get Involved: Explore ways you can get involved and make a meaningful impact, whether through volunteering, fundraising, or spreading awareness.
- Connect with Others: Connect with like-minded individuals who share your passion for mental health advocacy and create a supportive network within our community.
Our informational session is open to all residents of Mecklenburg County who are interested in learning more about mental health and getting involved in creating positive change. Whether you’re a mental health professional, community leader, or concerned citizen, your voice and contributions are invaluable in our collective efforts to support mental wellness. Coffee and refreshments will be provided.
If this time doesn’t work for you or you’d rather just discuss volunteer opportunities over the phone, feel free to contact Meghan Talbott at her email to set up a time to chat.
