Art Classes at the Quarles-Adams Gallery
Pamela Quarles-Adams opened her gallery on Main Street in Davidson 14 months ago, intending it to be only to be her studio – selling her inventory. Soon after opening, she had a “huge request to teach adult art classes. At that time, I began gathering names and emails of Davidson adults who would like half day art workshops.
“Thinking that art gallery business would be slow in January, which it has not been, I decided to finally begin teaching my classes. Since my background is art education, I thoroughly enjoy
teaching adults and decided that I could teach one week of classes per month, in addition to my Gallery schedule.”
When it was time to send out emails to those who had given their email addresses, expressing an interest in art, Quarles-Adams believes the exact number was 572 people who had signed up within the last year.
Said Quarles-Adams, “My life has been so richly blessed being here in Davidson, and I want to continue promoting art in this beautiful town.”
