Go Blue Devils!

We are sorry for all of our Tarheel supporters out there (as we know there are a lot of you, too), but there’s another blue devil in the A2S fold now!

Ifeanyi Ufochukwu

A2S Scholar, Ifeanyi Ufochukwu, known as Iffy, is committed to Duke University! For those of you who may be unfamiliar with Iffy’s journey, he first came to the states in 2019 where he stayed with his host parents, Frank and Keiran Llaneza.

During his time with the Llanezas, Iffy attended high school and played basketball for Covenant Day School.

In 2022, Iffy was accepted to Rice University where he was blessed by the opportunity to play on their basketball team. This May, he graduated from Rice University with a bachelor’s degree in business and a concentration in Finance.

With dreams to continue his basketball career, Iffy decided to enter the transfer portal, and we are thrilled to announce that he has committed to Duke University where he will pursue graduate degrees in Management Studies and an accelerated MBA.
