Jonathan Paul Marshburn, age 34, of Denver, Colorado passed away on May 18, 2025.

Jonathan was born in Dallas, TX to Paul and Nancy Marshburn on October 25, 1990. He went to high school at North Mecklenburg High School and graduated in 2009. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in International Business and Finance, Magma cum Laude from the University of South Carolina. He worked as a Manager, Strategic Planning for KPMG.

Jonathan enjoyed life to its fullest whether hiking, skiing, traveling the world, playing volleyball, golf, and tennis or just spending time with people. A connector of people by nature, he was loved by so many. He was curious, always interested in other’s views, always reading. Jonathan was only 34, but in that short time, he brought endless laughter with his bright sense of humor that lit up every room he entered-truly the life of every party and the heart of those who loved him.

Jonathan is survived by his parents, Paul and Nancy Marshburn of Davidson, North Carolina, his brother, Aaron Marshburn, his wife Jueun Hwang and their young son, all of Seattle, Washington.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Boatyard LKN in Cornelius, NC on June 28, 2025 from 12 noon to 3 p.m. EST.
