Access to Success: 15 Years of Empowering Dreams

by Press Release | Sep 22, 2025

Soulful Supper last night was an incredible celebration of 15 years of A2S and how far your support has allowed us to come in breaking the cycle of poverty for Nigerian youth and their families. We showed the video above to kick off our program last night which featured our A2S story celebrating the past 15 years.

We heard from Coach Bob McKillop who talked about the importance of small consistent improvements over time and how they multiply to an effect greater than the sum of its parts. Former Board Member and curriculum specialist Courtney Wright spoke about the incredible growth she has witnessed since the beginning of A2S all the way to her trip this spring when she helped design the new curriculum for the After School Academy alongside our Nigerian staff.

Lastly, Andrew Lovedale reflected on the incredible people who paved the way for A2S’s growth and development, as well as the many A2S kids who have already become changemakers in their fields. He shared how just a little support—given consistently over time—has yielded remarkable outcomes in their personal success stories. Today, these young leaders embody the very definition of Godly stewardship, giving back to their families, their communities, and their professions for the betterment of our world.

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you who participated in Soulful Supper, our auction, and all the ways you helped us grow these past 15 years.

Together, we have raised just over $256,000! We are continuing to push to reach our goal of $300,000. We need $44,000 to reach our goal and every little bit helps. If you can send even $50 or $100 toward our 15th Anniversary Soulful Supper goal, we would be so appreciative!

For the first 10 donors to give $500 or more, we will send you a handcrafted Nigerian fan and a personal thank you note from an A2S kid.
