A Voice Without and Within
(Mary’s Encounter with God’s Voice)
The stirring first came
Like a whisper…
Like a breeze…
Like a voice from
beyond…
Words so deep they
felt buried within
An announcement woven
with mystery
casting me into a
web beyond imagining
Unworthy of such words…
How could it be
me who hears them?
“A birthing yet to be…”
A voice without and within
“His name given to me,
Jesus”
Questions surround me
as does wonder
Beyond the possible
I know
But I am filled with
the impossible
“Let it be to me
according to your word”
Let it be…
