Davidson, NC — The North Carolina Association of Municipal Clerks (NCAMC) announces that Betsy Shores, MMC, NCCMC, Town Clerk and Communications Director for the Town of Davidson, has been elected to serve as 2nd Vice President for the 2025–2026 term, in accordance with NCAMC’s automatic officer succession model.

As 2nd Vice President, Shores will assist the executive leadership team and support initiatives focused on professional development, member engagement, and organizational growth.

Shores is recognized for her dedication to ethical governance and her active involvement in the municipal clerk profession, contributing both locally and statewide.
