A fascinating film, "Marty Supreme" stars Timothée Chalamet as the titular Marty, a self-righteous conman willing to do anything and hurt anyone to achieve his goal of being a famous table tennis player. Told by an excellent cast, this interesting tale of unscrupulous characters has moments that are extremely captivating. The shock alone is enough to keep audiences glued to the screen.

Timothée Chalamet is enthralling as Marty. Seeing the lengths to which Marty will go to achieve his goals alone is well worth the price of admission. It is often surprising the amount of destruction, both metaphorical and physical, that Marty brings. Yet, Marty is not alone. This story shows not only how potentially innocent characters get pulled into a destructive scheme, but that these people make their own choices, and the lack of scruples can be found in all classes of society.  The audience gets pulled into the tale, following in hopes of redemption perhaps, but then realizing that none may come.

With the rare exception, audiences likely won't judge the characters based on who they like the most. Instead, many of the characters will likely be judged based on who audiences dislike the least. It is unsettling but compelling to watch a film that lacks someone to cheer for, and yet, the ending leaves the audience wondering if, perhaps, a guy we can like will emerge. A daring film, "Marty Supreme" is an absolute spectacle.
