The local "Indivisible Lake Norman" group held a vigil Sunday evening, February 22, on the Town Green. Despite the frigid temperatures, more than a hundred people attended.

The event organizers asked attendees to bring a candle to "shine a light in the darkness."

There were several speakers and musicians. Those who attended were also asked to bring donations for the local families in need. All items donated were subsequently donated to Caterpillar Ministries.
