March News from The ODD Sock
ODD Sock volunteers from St. Luke’s.
The ODD Sock made many sock deliveries in February in North Carolina and Maryland. We are so excited to announce we have a new partnership with St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Derwood, Maryland. The ODD Sock delivered 15,000 pairs of socks to St. Luke’s. They will distribute the socks to those who are homeless and less fortunate.
The ODD Sock has several organizations hosting volunteer sock-sorting events including Meck 1 Girl Scouts, Mt. Zion Church, The FBLA, and The Union Academy Charter School. We truly appreciate these organizations!
The ODD Sock is expecting a large donation of socks in March from Socks and Accessory Brands Global in Winston Salem; we are so thankful to them. Ted Stevenson, founder of the ODD Sock, will be making sock deliveries all over North Carolina including Rocky Mount and Goldsboro.
On March 28, we need volunteers in Davidson to help clean and organize for deliveries at our “Sock Barn” aka our storage units. Email volunteertheoddsock@gmil.com if you would like to volunteer. To learn more about The ODD Sock, please visit our website here: The ODD Sock.
