Sincerely Tea House

by Sincerely Tea | Mar 31, 2026

Perched above South Main Street here in Davidson, a new experience awaits you to indulge in fine tea from around the world. Step through the green street door next to The Village Store and walk up the stairs to enter this hidden gem and be taken away from the everyday hustle into a cozy tea house. Opened by a local family passionate about tea, Sincerely Tea House offers the highest quality assortment of Chinese, Indian, African, Japanese and herbal teas.

Tea is prepared to order at the table, but it isn’t just the service that will draw you in. How you select your tea is engaging because the teas are all displayed on warm wood shelving in gold tins to be opened and enjoyed for their leaves' beauty and aroma. An intimate and inviting space; low, soothing music; and delicious baked goods enhance the experience of unhurried ease.  No reservation is required to relax at a table with a pot of tea.  The tea house is open Tuesday - Sunday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and until 9 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

The tea house also offers Tea Tastings by reservation. This is a wonderful exploration of a flight of six teas and lasts about an hour and a half.  The journey starts out with the selection of teas to taste.  It includes the presentation of the tea, background on the region where the tea is grown and the processing of the leaves, then culminates with the preparation, smelling, and tasting of each tea. A wonderful way to spend time with family and friends.

Another offering is British-style Afternoon Tea with finger sandwiches, scones with cream, and dainty deserts served with a pot of fine tea steeped at the table. These are scheduled on Sundays at least once a month and require a reservation, or they can be booked for parties of eight or more any time.

In addition, Sincerely Tea House hosts live music, a group tea leaf reading course, meditation, Qigong, poetry prompts, and more in the evenings. You can find schedules and details at the website sincerelyteahouse.com or email hello@sincerelyteahouse.com, but the best way to find the offerings is to visit the tea house and learn more!
